Student's Permit

Yesterday, I went to LTO Tayuman Branch to get my Student's Permit. I have been wanting to  get the Permit since last year. But then there were always changes in my schedule. Before I went to LTO, I searched the internet what were the requirements of getting a Student's Permit. And here is what I found:

The information is quite accurate, except that after I fill-up the application form, they asked me for an additional requirement. And I was shocked because I was not expecting them to asked me for it, why? Because from what I remember they will take your Picture in the process. So guys, please do not forget to bring your ID PICTURE in any size, or else you will have to go back to your house to get one. But in my case, I opted to just look for a booth where I can have my picture take. Luckily there was one, right in front of LTO and it costs me 95php. Not bad, but if you are on a tight budget better bring an ID Picture with you.

So here is the process on how to get your Student's Permit. 

Go to the Customer Service Window (located just after you enter LTO's premises). You will have to get your Application form and then Fill it up. After completing the needed information, you have to go back to the CSW to passed your application. Together with it you have to passed the requirements needed. Then you have to wait for your name to be called. For me, I waited for around 15 minutes. After that, a person will call your name and will asked you to proceed to Window 6.

At window 6, you will just passed your application and wait. They will evaluate your application for your Student's Permit. After evaluation, your name will then be called to proceed to Photo B/C window, to have your picture and signature taken. Then, you have to wait for your name to be called again. But after your name was called, you will have to proceed to window 11. This is where you will pay the necessary fees:

          Student Permit(SP)         150php

          Application Fee              100 php

          Computer Fee                67.63 php

          TOTAL                          317.63 php

After you pay, you will then have to wait again, but this time, its the final step already. You will now claim your Student's Permit at Window 15. But wait, if you think there's no more fees to be collected, you were wrong. The person who will release your SP will have to ask you for 20php. I think this one is mandatory, because they will release your SP together with a plastic cover.

More or less, it took me almost an hour to finish the whole process. You know how it goes in Government Offices. So don't forget to bring a lot of patience. And there, I hope I have enlighten you on how to get your Students Permit. xx

First Time

I just started reading blogs last year. Yeah, after 24years of existence, I just discovered the world of blogs just last 2012. Most of the blogs I read and follow were fashion blogs. But from time to time I read travel and food blogs. And these blogs were very useful in my everyday existence. Just like a normal netizen, I have envisioned myself having a blog someday. I have planned to make one but I was too coward to even start one. But now I am taking a leap of faith and is now currently writing my first ever blog.

Basically, what I will share in this blog are my everyday experiences in life. I am currently on the look out to try new stuffs, new places to visit and new food to discover.
